All foreign nationals entering India are required to possess a valid international travel document in the form of a national passport with a valid visa obtained from an Indian Mission or Post abroad.

Travelling to India, Visa cannot be obtained on arrival, you must make prior applications.

ISNCON 2022 Pune has already applied for Ministry Clearances for Visa Purpose. However given the COVID-19 restrictions the regulations here have become more stringent and tedious.

Since we do not have an exact timeline given to us by the government; chances are we may face a bit of delay in getting the final clearances in hand as well.

The committee is happy to provide you with the Invitation Letter on the official conference letterhead.

We request you to check with your consulate for the updated guidelines on travel & visa procedure. You may choose to opt for the type of Visa that aligns with your guidelines.

Please note:
In case, you choose to apply for a Tourist visa, then Ministry Clearances or Invitation letter from the conference will not be applicable to you. You cannot show conference registration letter or mention Conference as your purpose of visit.

In such a case, you may mention Travel or Tourism as your purpose of visit. We can also help you with hotel confirmation for the same.

However, going ahead, when we obtain the Ministry Clearances we will be able to help you with Conference Visa Supporting Documents like-

  • Personalized Visa Invitation Letter on the Conference Letterhead
  • Ministry Clearance - Approvals from Govt. of India
